Getting to know immigration lawyer Scott Wilkinson:
Why did you decide to become an immigration attorney?
I found the field to be rewarding on many levels, with client relationships and very high approval rates being my trademark. Every matter is treated as if the case were my own--close attention to detail, client expectations set, with realistic goals and timeframes.
What is your unique approach/style to handling cases?
Every case is treated as my own--I do not cut corners, nor do I set unrealistic expectations. Slow and steady wins the race, not fast and furious; and always focus on 'less is more.'

Example cases that this lawyer has handled for their clients
An EB-1 professor/researcher employed by a major public university
Who: Professor sought by a university to build a specialized art program.
Background: This highly-skilled professor held a nonimmigrant visa position at the university, which strongly desired to retain them to establish and solidify a specific art program long-term. This individual was highly esteemed in their field and was a major “get” for the petitioning university. The Form I-140 immigrant visa (“IV”) was submitted with significant supporting proof to include an expansive portfolio of their work, as well as letters from artists, leaders, academics and museum curators in that field.
My work: In niche artistic fields, USCIS skepticism is common. Despite clear qualifications, the adjudicator was unconvinced. Anticipating an RFE, I strategically withheld some evidence for a strong follow-up. After initial pushback, our response led to approval. I personally delivered the I-140 notice to the Dean, who interrupted the Beneficiary’s class—where they broke down in joy upon hearing the news.
Result: EB-1 approved
An H-1B physician working for a humanitarian entity
Who: An emergency room doctor facing H-1B denial over salary disputes.
Background: The physician client accepted an H-1B position as a first line emergency room triage doctor–skilled, but a “Level 1” M.D. which USCIS initially rejected via a Request for Evidence (“RFE”), challenging the pay level since this client was being paid more than the baseline prevailing wage for that occupation. The threat of denial via the RFE ignored the fact that even specialty occupation professionals have salary ranges. This foreign national doctor’s job description and duties clearly made them “entry level”; however the USCIS adjudicator initially ignored DOL’s prevailing wage range description and chose instead to focus on the foreign national’s perceived over-compensation.
My work: After consulting the hospital, I took an aggressive approach in my plea to the USCIS adjudicator, emphasizing the dire consequences of an H-1B denial. I provided statistics on the underserved Native American community and highlighted how understaffing could lead to preventable deaths. Denying this visa would leave the hospital below operational minimums, justifying the higher salary offered. With the Petitioner’s approval, this bold strategy succeeded.
Result: H-1B approved
An L-1A nonimmigrant executive/manager for a company opening a new office in the USA
Who: A top glass bottle manufacturer entering the U.S. wine market.
Background: A large manufacturer of high quality glass bottles for various industries wished to open an office in the US to market to, and service, the $100+ billion dollar California wine industry. The company had never done business in the US, and had no assets, payroll, or other ties to the American market.
My work: I assisted in strategizing the necessary to demonstrate the capital investment and benefits to the US market…anticipated to be in the $$$ millions pursuant to the business plan drafted in support. New office L-1 cases are notoriously difficult due to the fact that no evidence of a successful established entity yet exists in the US; all turns on projections and well-crafted arguments detailing the investment and staffing necessary to generate revenue and employ American workers.
Result: L-1A approved

Hi Ariel, Just wanted to say THANK YOU for an amazing service and assistance with this case. It started a year ago, and now after all those months, I can relax (at least from this aspect). Just to share with you that it was one of the biggest administration challenges I need to complete as part of the company's Reset. Thank you again

Alex, Ukraine
O1 Visa
Manifest has the best attorneys I've ever hired, they and their team are always professional and quick response, they helped me get my EB2 Green Card and make our family dream come to true finally, I'll recommend them to anyone who have immigration issues.

Inderjit Gujarat, India
EB2 Green Card
Daliah was recommended to my husband and me by an executive at the company we both work for, and she was very helpful as we prepared for my husband's K1 visa to immigrate to the United States. She provided Certified English Translations for my husband's Israeli documents, including court records. She met with us and helped us organize our documentation and navigate the visa process.
