Biomedicine
How Manifest Made It Happen The client self-petitioned for EB1A and initially received an RFE disputing three of the five argued categories. USCIS accepted judging experience and scholarly authorship but disputed the client’s awards, major contributions, and high salary. Despite USCIS's challenges, a strong response—including nine expert letters attesting to the significance of their research and innovation—successfully demonstrated their impact. With a compelling argument for their influence in biomedicine, the petition was approved despite initial challenges. Our team played a key role in guiding the client through the RFE response process. We advised them on selecting impactful recommenders, identifying credible experts in the field whose voices would carry weight with USCIS. We then drafted and refined nine tailored expert letters that highlighted the client’s unique contributions, groundbreaking innovation, and lasting influence in biomedicine. In addition, we strengthened the overall narrative around their major contributions, ensuring that the technical and practical significance of their work was clearly and convincingly communicated—even to a non-specialist audience.
